Hairdresser: Britney Spears' fear 'of the ex-manager

Britney Spears' hairdresser said on Wednesday that the pop superstar said that he feared his former boss and friend Osama "Sam" Lutfi.

The testimony came as lawyers for Spears' father to seek long restraining order against Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, attorney Jon Eardley and Lutfi. A judge on Wednesday extended a temporary restraining order against men and more plans to hear testimony on April 1.

Barber said Roberta Romero comments came after Spears repeatedly Lutfi sent text messages in late December. Lutfi said he was trying to convey their messages to the singer, including that he was making efforts to "free" from it.

Romero, who has worked as Spears' stylist for over a year, said the singer said Lutfi told to leave alone. Romero Spears and security staff reported the singer Lutfi on text messages.

Romero said that he spoke only once Lutfi, Spears weeks before security to participate. She said he was not threatened by telephone, but the singer told him to avoid his former friend.

"He told me that the fear of him and not talk to him," said Romero.

Joel Boxer, a lawyer for Spears' father Jamie, read some of the text messages in court Wednesday. One message said: "Very close to getting its free now."

Lutfi's attorney, Bryan Freedman, declined comment after the hearing about the text messages.

Romero was the third witness to testify in the case. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb also has heard the testimony of Spears' father, a security guard who allegedly recorded messages sent to Lutfi Romero and Geraldine Wyle, Jamie Spears of lawyers.

Jamie Spears said Monday that he did not know if her daughter had spoken with Lutfi since last February. But he also repeated a claim which Lutfi put drugs in her daughter food in efforts to control it.

Wyle testimony Wednesday about an agreement reached last year between Jamie Spears and Lutfi in which the former manager agreed not to attempt to contact the singer by any means.

Freedman said earlier this week that the only direct contact was a call that Britney Spears was apparently Lutfi.

Attorneys for Jamie Spears Lutfi tried to call as a witness on Wednesday, but their lawyers said they had not served a summons. He said he did not know whether Lutfi that appear at the hearing in April.

Most of the testimony so far has affected Lutfi and Ghalib, who is not represented in the event of a restraining order. Ghalib appeared in a Van Nuys court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to three felony charges that he struck a server process with his car last month.

The server was attempting to deliver the documentation about the restraining order. Prosecutors filed felony charges Tuesday, saying that the server broke his wrist after clinging to the hood of Ghalib's car to avoid serious injury.

Roger Diamond, an attorney representing Eardley, said his client has had no involvement in the Spears case a year. He has repeatedly tried to get Eardley dismissed the case, but has refused Bobb.

"I see poor Ms. Britney Spears is being bled dry by these procedures," Diamond said in court Wednesday. "This is just a nightmare for Mr Eardley.

Spears is not expected to testify in the case. She opens a tour of his hit album "Circus" on March 3 in New Orleans. (Source: Yahoo)

Annie Lennox does not lower the age of its slow

In the mid-1980s when the singer Annie Lennox men wore suits, sport an orange crew cut and faced constant questions about his androgynous image, she responded by coming to sing at the Grammy Awards in full strength.

Now, after four solo albums, divorce and a new greatest hits CD, the prominent Scottish born singer who won fame as the first part of the pop duo Eurythmics often says a lot of fashion.

"It became past," he told Reuters.

But 54 years old Lennox, whose first retrospective album "The Annie Lennox Collection" is the release this week, said it still wants to maintain its image as an artist on the edge of pop music and culture, as well as a powerful woman.

"I'm thinking" OK, I do not want to end up like the proverbial mutton dressed as lamb ", but how am I going to do it gracefully aging thing? "He said.

"I still want to be a performer faculty, a faculty wife. I want to see women and think, 'Okay, she has a few wrinkles, and well." I do not have to lie about my age. .. What's shame? And what is so bad about being older? "

His new album features 14 songs such hits as "Walking on Broken Glass", "No More Te Quiero," "Why," and two new songs including "Shining Light" - a cover of the best-selling 2001 single by Irish rockers Ash.

The album, which she calls "a great arc before going out and doing the next step" is his last with his record label of 30 years, Sony BMG, and she has yet to sign with another label.

Various states
The songs are taken from each of his four solo albums he recorded after a pause in 1990, Dave Stewart, with whom he formed the successful pop duo Eurythmics.

Each solo album marked by different emotional states Lennox. His "Songs of Mass Destruction" in 2007, including the single "Dark Road", directed joylessness and sadness in my soul. "

Lennox, who said that is not currently in a relationship, says he has learned some life lessons. His marriage to Israeli film producer Uri Fruchtman ended in 2000.

"I do not believe in marriage in particular more. I think it's good if you can get it and it works, but boy oh boy," he said. "When you are older and can look back as they have been there - if I had known then what I know now - might have been different."

His greatest hits album, which was delayed for more than six months after suffering a trapped nerve cord, has brought a new lifestyle Lennox relaxed and aware of the ups and downs of life that attempts to avoid.

"I'm coasting now. I feel very well," he said. "I am afraid to say that, because you never know in life, right?"

After this album, the political activist and mother of two girls said she will keep recording music and campaigning on issues such as AIDS in Africa and women's rights.

Lennox and hastens to add that still prefers to dress in trousers. "I do not find so beautiful, sexy, all tits and ass. I never did, and I do not now because I'm too old for that," he said.(Source: Veryquiet.com)

Rihanna Chris Brown did not discuss, but thanks fans

As if a police probe of his own escape from the image of a woman beaten and shot seems Rihanna, the image is causing a debate about the impact it could have on the issue of domestic violence.

The celebrity Web site tmZ, which published the photo on Thursday night, did not explain its origin. Wrote that the site was only taken after an altercation between the platinum-selling singer and her boyfriend, fellow pop star Chris Brown.

Police Chief William Bratton acknowledged Los Angeles on Friday afternoon that the picture may be embarrassing for the woman in the photo, a view shared by some advocates of battered women. But the welts and marks on the face of the woman in the photo, some also saw a teaching moment.

"If it can happen to Rihanna, it could happen to anyone," said Kim Gandy, president of the National Organization for Women. There are an estimated 4.8 billion attacks of domestic violence on women and other attacks on 2.9 million men each year, according to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control.

"It may be a good idea if it is, if girls do this," said Susan Murphy-Milano, author of Chicago and an advocate for battered women. He said he expects them to think, "Is the next picture will be of her in a morgue?"

Both women provided for the image that Bratton did not even go so far as to confirm it was Rihanna, could provoke a new awareness of domestic violence.

"The reality that domestic violence can happen to anyone, even someone with fame and celebrity, you should bring home the point that this is a problem throughout our society," said Gandy. "We can not avoid or ignore it."

Bratton told reporters that with the launch of an internal investigation into whether the photo is evidence of police who is also seeking ways tmZ get the picture. He said the department may pursue a criminal conspiracy case against tmZ and who could have helped get the picture.

Bratton said he suspects that someone in the department leaked the photo, but did not elaborate or go so far as to confirm that this was evidence of police records.

"Do not treat lightly," said Bratton. "It's an embarrassment to this department, in fact, if the evidence was leaked.

"It will be a very painful experience for all staff of this department, and possibly those who may have participated in a conspiracy to violate California law."

TMZ did not say how he obtained the picture and a publicist for the site did not return a phone message or e-mail seeking comment Friday.

Brown, 19, February 8 was arrested on suspicion of criminal threats, but police have not publicly identified his alleged victim. The woman was Rihanna, according to a person familiar with the situation, which was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter and requested anonymity.

A spokesman for Brown said the singer had no comment beyond a statement issued Sunday in which he said was "sorry and saddened" by the incident. His lawyer did not return calls seeking comment.

Rihanna broke her silence on Friday, his 21st birthday by releasing a statement through Rubenstein Associates.

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting on the incident in which Chris Brown," the statement read. "She wants to reassure her fans that she is still strong, is good, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support he has received during this difficult time."

The singer canceled a planned birthday bash in New York and postpones concerts abroad in the days following the incident.

Prosecutors are still waiting for the police to present more evidence against Brown. Bratton said Friday that detectives are working quickly to complete the investigation and the investigations into the leak.

Both Gandy and Murphy-Milano said one reason why the picture on the news is so surprising is because domestic violence is not in the limelight except when it comes to high-profile couples.

"It may give people pause and make them think about what we are doing to women who do not have the resources to escape and take care of themselves," said Gandy. He said that the country's economic problems will lead to more cases of domestic violence suffered by the families financially.

And from a painful picture, Murphy-Milano hopes a new champion of battered women could have been made.

"I think it could be a voice and a very important tool for other people," said Rihanna. "She could turn this around," said Murphy-Milano, and tell others, "" Do not be me. "

What songs and movies Added Lyrics

Movie soundtracks are common, although the songs and music are an integral part of the film. The music creates the atmosphere, while the songs and their lyrics reinforce this mood. However, sometimes the songs and lyrics of a soundtrack of the film can be viewed as larger than the film itself. These songs and their lyrics are more than just iconic. When you mention a movie, it is rare for anyone to link a song to her. However, with these songs, the movies are only secondary. These are some of the songs icon that helped create and establish the film as they are now.

"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion

Nothing can be bigger than Celine Dion "My Heart Will Go On". The famous (sometimes infamous) theme song from the movie Titanic is perhaps the greatest song ever created for a movie. And rightly so, since Titanic was only the highest gross film in the world (with a worldwide gross of over one billion dollars-a feat in its release, and an achievement that no other film has doubled). Many argue that this song is not exactly a high art. With lyrics that go "Near, far, wherever you are / I believe that the heart is / Once more you open the door / And you're here in my heart / And my heart go on and on," it is clear that the song does not aspire to be great art. However, although many refuse to consider this song as the music, they are willing to admit that "My Heart Will Go On" Titanic was the movie that is.

"Growing old with you," The Wedding Singer

"Aging with You" is an unexpected success. The song was not done by a professional singer, but a comic actor Adam Sandler, no less. The lyrics are very simplistic, something that sounds like an average Joe's ode to love more than anything else. However, with its simple lyrics, and even more simple music, "grow old with you" became an icon of the song that remains in the consciousness of people, even today. The lyrics, while low, are sweet and sentimental. The chorus reads: "I'll miss you / Kiss you / Give you my coat when you are cold or need you or your food / maintain and even allow remote control." The letters "may be feeling the song hook. The film, though not entirely forgotten, is not considered part of pop culture, but persists as a modern classic song.

"I Do not Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith

Aerosmith is one of the biggest acts in music, "Independence Day" was one of the greatest films of its time. Together, they created the "I Do not Want to Miss a Thing," a song that has survived the scrutiny of the pop culture critics, even if the film is often seen as an overrated crap. "I Do not Want to Miss a Thing" is a favorite karaoke, accessible through their lyrics. In fact, sung on television's largest karaoke-type show American Idol. In fact, the contestant who performed the song during its seventh season, finally won the competition.
